    Dedicated to a rounded education

Although academic skills and success are paramount, our school seeks to broaden the horizons of all of our students. For that reason, we aim to enrich our pupils' school life beyond the classroom as much as possible. We see every child's emotional development, self-confidence and the formation of positive relationships as essential. St. Dominic’s Grammar School Performing Arts Centre offers unrivalled facilities for dance, drama and music. In addition, we have exceptional and diverse sports facilities and a comprehensive extra-curricular programme which complements the academic development of all of our pupils.

Serving Telford and the surrounding areas

Welcoming both girls and boys from the age of 4 up to 18, we operate two dedicated bus services. The bus serves the Telford area, picking up pupils for the junior school, senior school, and sixth form. The services have pickups across Telford, including Apley, Bratton, Muxton, Priorlee and Madeley. Many of these are to the doors of families' homes. We also operate private bus services that cover many other areas of the county, including Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Newport.

    Our approach to school fees

As a not-for-profit company, we invest all profits back into the school. As a result, we have the lowest fees of any local independent schools without compromising on the quality of education, facilities or class sizes. Class sizes are limited to 18 in the preparatory school. This continues for most subjects in the senior school, where small classes allow for more personalised learning, especially in the particular area of the core subjects of maths, English and science.
